CROSSKEY VINEYARDs

CrossKey planted their first vines in 2001. Years of hard work, passion, hope, and most importantly perseverance breathed life into our dream; opening the doors to our own vineyard. In May of 2008 they offered the first vintage of 2006, 100% estate grown wine.  Aside from being a beautiful Shenandoah Valley gathering place, they strive to be an establishment that gives back to their community. The keys embody their goal of producing exquisite wines, delicious food, fabulous events, but most of all they are a reminder that they strive to provide an excellent experience for every guest.

DUCARD VINEYARDS

The folks at DuCard have been growing grapes for the past decade on their property, nestled at the eastern edge of the Shenandoah National Park. Their story is best described as a “hobby gone wild”.  Initially selling grapes to a winery neighbor, they expanded production and opened to the public in 2010, with a gorgeous new tasting room and boutique winery at their vineyard site. They continue to do things their own way; in small batches of the highest possible quantity, and with a fantastic, loyal base of customers who appreciate the uniqueness of their operation. Named Virginia’s Greenest Winery, with solar power and even a Tesla electric car charging station, they strive to respect the environment and to support local businesses.
